Bob Stuker, Mohawk’s engineering manager since 1992, died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2005, surrounded by his family.

Bob was 41. For the past year, Bob had courageously fought cancer.

We miss Bob dearly. Besides being a tremendous engineer whose impact will be felt in the industry for years to come, Bob was a great friend, trusted colleague and mentor to Mohawk’s employees.

Bob loved developing parts, figuring out practical solutions to common problems in bus maintenance, and working with other mechanics and engineers in the field. He made many friends through our vendors and customers, and he was very appreciative of all the support they showed him this past year.

Bob’s sense of humor, his dedication and his friendship made Mohawk a better place.
