Mohawk Mfg. & Supply Co. is North America’s premier bus parts supplier, furnishing more than 50,000 parts for the transit and motor coach industries. Founded in 1958 by former Greyhound executive Wilbur Brown and former Greyhound employees Fred Winkler and John Brown, Mohawk today employs about 40 people and is headquartered in the Chicago suburb of Niles, IL.

As a supplier, Mohawk is a national distributor for many leaders in the transportation world, including Koni, Walex, Stabilus, Goodyear, Meritor, Haldex, Trucklite and Fleetguard. Mohawk supplies parts to almost every type of bus on the road today in North America: RTS, MCI, Orion, Nova, Prevost, Flyer, Gillig, Eagle, NABI (Ikarus), AM General, Eldorado, Chance and Van Hool.

As an innovator, Mohawk’s engineering staff has solved some of the most recurring problems in bus maintenance, developing unique parts like Mohawk’s stepwell lamps, stabilizer links and gold-plated fuses.
